Art is protolanguage, mother tongue of humankind. Like expression, guts, beauty, context, movement, imagination, images, comparison, (transcendental) emotions. Creativity is not based upon efficiency or marking out boundaries, limitations.

A world dominated by efficiency is not much fun. Innovations strictly judged upon practical use. Imaginary, joy, inspiration, passion, music, jazz, poetry; No place for that. Mozart would, in cold days, have burned up his piano. Van Gogh would have become a house painter. The Nobel price for literature would not be if only for appliances manuals.

Art evokes, kicks up our conscious, but how rich the influence of art in its orderly and moving role can be, words, images and music are real but not reflect reality.
